Ginger Tea

Great for the nervous and digestive systems, this tea helps alleviate aches and pains associated with the flu and is very beneficial for women who are menstruating to keep energy levels up.


INGREDIENTS

finger-length piece of fresh ginger root

honey or Grade B maple syrup

milk (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice the ginger.

  2. Place the sliced ginger in a pot with a quart of water and boil for 10 minutes.

  3. Strain and sweeten with honey or maple syrup, if desired.

  4. Add milk, if desired. Drink hot and enjoy!
